Dyojet Power Vision 3 ( flash tuner )
This section is to try to answer and describe what the Dynojet Power Vision 3 (PV3) and how it works.
What is a flash Tuner?
What is Flash Tuning? Flash tuning is reprogramming the electronic control unit or ECU chip to change how the engine works. You can find the chip within the injection system. It controls the amount of fuel and air mixture taking place in the engine. You can also change transmission shift points and Cultch pressures in Dual clutch transmissions (DCT)
Why does the tuning say 91 or better octane?
In order to achieve improvement in throttle response and overall performance it is necessary to add timing and fuel. To do this the octane of fuel has to be increased.
Can I return it to stock?
Yes you can return it to stock at anytime. You can find your stock tune file on you Dynojet Power Vision 3 under the flash tab. I will be the only tune you see that starts with a number and ends with a stk. (Example: 1612003.stk)
Can I use the PV3 on more than one vehicle?
Yes, you can purchase additional tuning licenses on the dynojet web site www.dynojet.com you will need to create a account with them. Once you purchase the additional licence you will have it saved into your account.
Your Power Vision 3 will be able to tune the original vehicle, as well as one additional Honda. Your Power Vision 3 device will remember each license that is applied, essentially multiplying the power of your device.
Each license is vehicle specific, not device specific, allowing you to load a Tune License onto any number of Power Vision 3 units you have. You can find more details on the FCP forum on how to create a tune licence it will be found in the questions and answers section. There you can also comment.
